Keep Austin Stylish Features New milk + honey Flagship

December 30, 2012

The fine folks at Keep Austin Stylish stopped by our new digs at the corner of Guadalupe and Cesar Chavez to check us out. Here’s just a little of what they had to say:

The new space is bigger and more open with floor to ceiling windows looking out towards the trails and the lake.  It’s a beautiful space and I had the pleasure of gettin my hair did at the new Austin salon.  I came in expecting to get just a cut, but after I told her that my hair had gotten super dry lately, my gal Amber hooked me up with a gloss treatment as well!

milk + honey spa Featured in Heaven Salon

September 12, 2012

Heaven Salon visited milk + honey spa and had some wonderful things to say. Joanna received a Lux Massage and a Blowout. Here are a couple of excerpts from the article. You can read the entire article of

EXPERIENCE: For my trip to Milk and Honey I started off with the 60 minute Lux massage. When changing into my robe, I was already impressed with the facilities. Even the robe itself was soft and of top notch quality! I waited in the lounge for a bit, and even being the impatient person I am, I enjoyed the wait. I helped myself to some healthy snacks and even before entering the massage room, I was already starting to relax. Then, the real test of the Milk and Honey experience came and I spent the next hour of my life on the massage table. My massage was fantastic! Courtney gave me the best massage I have ever had and made me feel insanely comfortable and relaxed.

AMBIENCE: From the outside, you might never know there is such a relaxing environment in the middle of the busy streets of downtown. But, once you enter Milk and Honey and make your way into the lounge, you will feel like you are in a hidden oasis.

Vogue Does Austin and milk + honey spa

March 22, 2012

SXSW is over. We know this because we can all get to where we are going without planning ahead for six hours. An article in Vogue by Evvie Crowley and Molly Creeden prepared non-Austinites for the festival. milk + honey is proud to be their Friday afternoon plan, and we couldn’t agree more with their thinking. Although, the SXSW Detox Retreat is pretty spectacular too.

2. For hair, skin, or muscles that are feeling a little festival-weary, go to Milk + Honey Day Spa and revitalize with excellent pedicures, facials, and massage. Or enter 100 minutes of bliss with the spa’s signature “Spa Partisan” in which a body polishing treatment with an in-house organic scrub is followed by a steam under a canopy, and a 60-minute body butter massage.
