#ArtOfTheBath: holiday vibes edition

December 4, 2018

Ahh, the holidays — the most wonderful time of the year. Whether you’re looking forward to indulging in glühwein (mulled wine, that is) or tucking into your annual screening of Love Actually, there’s no denying the season comes with its fair share of stress, too. If you can, I highly recommend blocking an evening on your calendar between office parties and gift wrapping to slow down and take care of yourself. Read on for our cozy #ArtOfTheBath tips — curated specifically for the holiday season.

Smell

Insider tip: our holiday candle flew off the shelves during Brown Amber weekend, but it’s still available in our Home for the Holidays Set. Balsam fir, scotch pine, and cinnamon blend together to create a warm aroma, perfectly suited for the season.

Sight

The bath is my favorite place to read. Since it’s definitely a danger zone for iPhones, I find that I don’t get sidetracked by texts or end up scrolling mindlessly. Instead, I’m able to focus on the pages of a book. For this #AOTB, I recommend diving into this Crystal Guide. It’s beautiful and full of juicy “ah-ha” moments. Plus, it can spark some holiday gifting ideas. Shopping for stocking stuffers for someone moving into a new home? The Guide recommends smoky quartz for energy cleansing.

Touch

Our Home for the Holidays Set also includes our ultra-dreamy Milk Bath. Made with organic dehydrated coconut milk, the sweet, powdery formulation melts into a cloudy bath when mixed with water. (File under: smells like heaven.)

Taste

Combine a classic holiday treat like this peppermint bark (available at milk + honey locations) with a glass of clean-crafted wine. We recommend this fruity, bold Malbec. Don’t forget to pair it with a generous glass of ice water so you stay hydrated throughout your cozy, seasonal bath.

Listen

Finally, turn on our holiday playlist and tune out the shopping stress. Your checklist can wait — promise.
