What is Davines?
Named after the family’s two children, Davide and Stephania, the Davines Group was founded in 1983 by the Bollati family in Parma, Italy. The company originally began as a research facility that created high-end haircare products for renowned cosmetics companies. After honing their skills for 10 years, the company decided to create their own line of haircare products specifically designed for salons. Since 1993, Davines has been dedicated to creating luxurious products formulated with highest quality ingredients and are safe and effective for the customer to use. All of their products are created without parabens and many of them are even gluten-free.
Davines and the Environment
Aside from their high-quality products, Davines stands apart from many other competitors because of their pledge to honor and protect the environment. In 2006, the company wanted to help offset their CO2 emissions and decided to “fuel” their office and plants using renewable energy from the sun, wind, and soil. Every product from Davines is developed with 100% clean energy. That’s not all, though. Davines’ dedication to sustainability extends to their packaging as well. The packaging for each product is made from recyclable materials, uses limited amounts of raw materials as possible, and has been developed with an optimized logistics process to avoid waste.
