To create a relaxing spa and salon environment, we use products and services that don’t include harmful chemicals. We believe that both our clients or employees shouldn’t have to worry about the health risks of certain chemicals while enjoying a relaxing treatment. To honor this commitment, none of our locations uses products that contain parabens, acetone, sodium lauryl sulfate, ammonia, mineral oil, or phthalates.
A natural mani-pedi.
Come enjoy a mani-pedi in our fume-free nail room. Our natural nail services utilize the safest products in order to provide you with gorgeous looking nails. All of our locations use LED-light dryers, which quickly dry your nails without the harmful effects of UV light dryers. We offer vegan nail polish line, Spa Ritual, premium nail polishes that are plant based, Certified Organic and Fair Trade, and are free of the notorious toxic trio: formaldehyde, DBP, and toluene.
Looking for a mani that lasts a little longer? Try our Healthy Gel Manicures. This treatment uses a vitamin-infused polish and is a great alternative to acrylic manicures, a process that involves strong chemicals and fumes, and can damage your nail bed and become a breeding ground for bacteria and fungus.

Did you know that some skincare lines uses damaging chemicals that strip away your skin cells? At milk + honey, our skin treatments utilize clean, effective skincare products. You won’t find parabens or phthalates here! Our exclusive skincare line, CosMedix, is not only great at addressing your skin needs, but is also free of glycolic acid, chemical dyes, benzoyl peroxide, mineral oils, and SLS. CosMedix’s award-winning products are a combination of plant-sourced ingredients, pure essential oils, and its formulations are inspired by top Noble Prize-winning pharmaceutical discoveries.
Say goodbye to harmful hair dyes.
Great hair shouldn’t come at the expense of harmful chemicals. To keep your hair healthy, SALON by milk + honey uses Kevin.Murphy, a sulfate-free, paraben-free, and cruelty-free hair care line, and Aveda, which uses pure essential oils. In order to provide a relaxing and clean environment, none of our locations offer perms, which use damaging chemicals and creates a harmful scent. However, if you are looking for body, texture, and waves, our American Wave treatment, available only at our Arboretum location, is a perfect alternative.
To keep your hair healthy during coloring, highlighting, or balayage treatments, many of our stylists use Color.Me by Kevin Murphy. These hair dyes are free of ammonia, PPD, and parabens, and are made with honey, shea butter, and pomegranate. This formula also allows for your stylist to create hair color that’s long lasting, retains brilliance, respects your hair, won’t irritate your scalp, and has a natural fragrance.
