Don’t Miss Out on Our Cream Deodorant Special!

August 17, 2016

01

Into The Gloss writer, Alex Beggs, tried all three of the milk + honey deodorants and gave it a real New Yorker seal-of-approval.

They passed a 97 degree subway ride in which I had to hold on to the overhead bar, which means I was confident enough to expose the seated riders below me with my prickly pits. I never thought I’d make the switch from drugstore, aluminum deodorant to this hippie stuff, but I’m a convert.

Now, it’s your turn to take our Cream Deodorant for a test drive, and we’re sweetening the deal:

Take $5 off your cream deodorant order on milkandhoney.com with code: INTOTHEGLOSS

*Offer valid through September 30 on Cream Deodorant orders made via milkandhoney.com only.

Recent Reviews of milk + honey

December 6, 2010

Here are some excerpts of recent online reviews of milk + honey. From Beth K:

Quick update to give props to my new girl Bella: Jenn is no longer with Milk & Honey Spa (moved back to Louisiana so it seems), but both Bella and Genevieve are my new skin goddesses.

I’ll admit that upon hearing of Jenn’s departure I was in shock and a bit teary-eyed (how spoiled and bitchy does that sound?) and the girl making my appointment assured me that, together, we’d figure out how to move on with life.

She was right! They both have given me amazing facials and waxing. Love love love.

From Jeannette  Z:

All I needed after my 90 minute massage was a cigarette.

Yes. It was that good.

After partying it up over Halloween weekend and then working ridiculously long days at the Austin Convention Center, I decided it was time to relax and pamper myself. Found this adorable day spa on Yelp and ordered up a massage with Matt. The receptionist at milk + honey greeted me with a warm smile and escorted me into a comfy & relaxing waiting area. The ambience is modern – cool – relaxing (think W hotel). I have had some good massages before, but never ever to this caliber.  I was pretty darn close to taking Matt home with me.

And another:

I’ve been hesitant to post this review…only because (selfishly) I’m not sure I want the secret out!

A few months ago I was desperate for highlights and a trim. My usual stylist was booked too far out to wait (my bad for not planning better!) and I had a gift certificate to Milk & Honey.

I have long been a huge fan of their Spa and decided to give their Salon a try.

Robin is great. I have medium/long hair these days (much longer than in my profile pic) and have been thoroughly pleased with my color and cut on each visit. And the salon experience is much better than any other I’ve had in Austin over the past four years.

I know a post or two has mentioned Milk & Honey being pricey — and it’s certainly not cheap — but I think the prices are in line with the services you receive. At both the Salon and the Spa.
