Caring For Our Heroes: Supporting LA’s Wildfire Relief Efforts

January 20, 2025

As fires continue to devastate parts of Los Angeles, our hearts go out to all those affected by the widespread destruction. The region has faced a harrowing combination of record-breaking heat, strong winds, and dry conditions, creating the perfect storm for wildfires to ignite and spread rapidly. These fires have displaced thousands of residents, destroyed homes and businesses, and left many communities grappling with the aftermath.

Amid this chaos, the resilience of our community inspires us. First responders, including firefighters and emergency personnel, have been working tirelessly around the clock to contain the flames, protect lives, and preserve properties. These heroes face grueling conditions, risking their own safety to bring relief and hope to those in need.

At milk + honey, we’re committed to supporting those impacted by this tragedy—including the brave firefighters and first responders on the frontlines. We aim to make a meaningful difference during this challenging time. From offering complimentary massages to first responders to donating essential self-care products and rallying our community to contribute, we stand alongside Los Angeles in its recovery efforts. Together, we can help rebuild, heal, and move forward.

We're offering 200 free massages to LA firefighters and first responders.

How We’re Caring For LA

1. Donating Essentials

Essentials are critical for those affected by the fires. We’ve partnered with By Rosie Jane, a collection of clean, safe fragrance, shower, and body products made in Los Angeles, to donate and distribute 300 of  aluminum-free deodorants, supporting first responders and individuals impacted by the fires. Our Regular Strength Deodorant is made with food-grade baking soda to neutralize odor naturally and is mined from the earth – not a lab – for a fine, non-irritating grit.

2. Caring For Firefighters + First Responders

We’re proud to donate 200 complimentary 60-minute Signature Massages to Los Angeles firefighters and first responders as a heartfelt thank-you for their service. These massages are more than a moment of relaxation—they’re an opportunity to recover, refuel, and be cared for after enduring the unimaginable.

3. Creating A Space For Healing

Our Brentwood and Culver City spas aim to provide a safe haven during this time. We will continue to look for ways to pull the community together through events and experiences this spring.

Thank You

Thank you to the LA community for helping us amplify our impact by donating to the Los Angeles Fire Department to further their critical work.
