Blondes, brunettes, redheads, and now pastels? If you’ve checked Pinterest, Twitter, or Instagram, you’ll notice you that the pastel hair craze is becoming more and more popular. Our Hill Country Galleria manager, Rhianon, decided to take on this trend and try dusky rosegold hair! With our talented stylist, Tanya F. at the helm, she was able to go from blonde to the perfect shade of pastel pink.
Tanya began this colorful change by first balayaing her hair to the perfect shade of blonde. By doing this, she created brighter blonde shades that would highlight and accentuate the shades of rosegold. After the balayage, Tanya washed and dried her Rhianon’s hair to prep for the rosegold. Drying her hair allows Tanya to quickly apply the dye without it muddling the new blonde pieces. Then, Tanya hand-paints all of the rosegold pieces. After washing her hair, she and fellow stylist, Greg S., finish with a gorgeous blowout.
