It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of SXSW 2017. Naturally, it can leave you feeling tired and drained. To combat this onset of sensory-overload exhaustion, might we suggest a little R&R with milk + honey’s express treatments? These services are designed to help you feel rejuvenated without taking up too much of your time. Win-win.
For me, SXSW 2017 is all about the spectacular films that can’t be missed. As a movie fanatic, I’ve searched through the SXSW guide and have found some true gems. Let me know what you’re most looking forward to seeing.
There’s never a shortage of live music in Austin, but SXSW Music ups the ante tenfold. It’s sensory overload with a side of FOMO thrown into the mix — who to see and who to pass over with only so many hours in the day? With all this ear candy taking over most of downtown Austin, it begs the question: where to start? I’ve mapped out the shows I’m most excited about in the hopes that you too will glean some of your own concert-going inspiration.

The self-proclaimed “boy band” out of New York has amassed an impressive cult following thanks to its addictive electronic meets J-pop beats. If you’re unfamiliar with their sound, press “play” on Pop It, a more recent favorite of mine that is bubblegum-dance perfection.
Playing Tuesday, March 15 and Thursday, March 17.
While it’s easy (and fun!) to get swept away in the excitement of SXSW, it’s just as easy to burn out before your final panel takes the stage. To help you maintain that bright-eyed, busy-tailed sensibility, we’ve culled some of our favorite express treatments for you — all quick enough to press the “refresh” button without missing your next meeting.
Every year, SXSW draws an international crowd ready to take part in the smorgasbord of incredible touring bands, film premieres, interactive panels that cater to the tech, music, film, and sports industry, incredible bands, and of course, the afterparty/networking scene. For me, there’s nothing more exciting than seeing a film premiere during SXSW. That’s why I’ve combed through all the upcoming debuts in the week ahead. Excitement, people. Let these picks guide you in your own SXSW viewing schedule. Don’t see your favorite on the list? Share yours in the comments section.
Okay, okay. We admit. We’ve been a bit silent on the blogging front as of late. Nothing a good update post can’t fix. And more importantly, our absence has everything to do with all the great things we’ve been plotting and planning… for you.
We’re excited to be a part of Austin-based Outdoor Voices’ A Brunch of Joggers #SXSW event on Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 9am to noon. Interested? RSVP ASAP. The first 150 RSVP attendees will receive a custom Outdoor Voices South-By tote with special treats for yours truly, KIND, Evian, Thinksport, and more. We. can’t. wait.
Where else can you expect us to pop this Spring?
We can’t reveal all of our secrets (just yet), but please come say “hello” to us this Saturday — February 28 — at Austin’s annual 2nd Street Soundcheck! We’ll be there with milk + honey’s latest bath and body care products for you to sample and stock up on! Win-win.
Remember you can always find us on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, even when we’re not diligently blogging. Which, yes, we need to be much better about. We consider ourselves warned.
